Glazes and engobes industry

 AL, CL and SOKALITE act as natural suspending agents for glazes as well as providing a source of alumina for both glazes and frits.

 The good fired colours of all the kaolins can be used in engobe compositions to provide a primer coat on to which glazes can be applied.

 Low fluorine in a kaolin, helps to protect the environment. The SOKA kaolins are known to contain some of the lowest levels of fluorine.
